About my Quilts:
The quilts I make are modelled after the American antique ‘utility quilts’. Utility quilts were ones that were made for everyday use. There are very few antique utility quilts left. This is because the quilts were made and used and remade and used until there was nothing left. An all-over quilt is named this because there are no wide borders, etc. on the quilt top. The pattern is repeated ‘all over’ the quilt.
